Press Release : Vivienne Taa appointed Regional Vice President EiC Corporation Austral Africa | 2024-2028 mandate

Nomination :The International Financial Organization, EiC Corporation proceeded to renew the mandates of these Regional Vice-Presidents. Vivienne Taa has been appointed Vice-President Austral Africa regions  on the board of the International EiC Corporation committee for the 2024-2028 term, covering South AfricaAngola , Botswana, Comores, Eswatini (ex-Swaziland), Lesotho, Madagascar., Malawi. She is responsible for ensuring the development, supervision, evaluation and rating of the G25, the national local representation of EiC Corporation responsible for the implementation and good governance of the financial inclusion program for the benefit of beneficiaries, households, nuggets.

Vivienne is a dynamic, versatile and passionate communications and public affairs professional with an outgoing personality and a positive attitude. She is highly efficient, innovative and organized with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and strategic communications. She is able to leverage government, political and civil society networks, and has an expertise in developing innovative communication strategies and capacity to provide insightful advisory to senior business leaders.

Vivienne is based in Kenya and has over 15 years of experience having worked in Communications and Public Affairs, Airline, Fashion, Logistics and Supply Chain - delivering a sizeable P&L responsibility. She has executed several notable strategic assignments over the years some of which are listed below:

  • Successfully drafted and presented submissions on the Division of Revenue Bill 2019 before Kenya's Senate Finance Committee, demonstrating a keen understanding of Parliamentary proceedings and activities.

  • Played a pivotal role in organizing a high-impact advocacy campaign on the two-thirds gender rule for women in political leadership that influenced a significant change in the number of women appointed to government positions.

  • Successfully organized, coordinated and executed a high-level presidential event in Nairobi, Kenya attended by former President Uhuru Kenyatta and several government officials.

Vivienne is a Royal African Young Leaders Awardee. She was also a recipient of the President's Gold Standard Award for Young People in 2004. Vivienne holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management degree from Moi University and has completed several professional development courses including; Leadership at Common Purpose in Jakarta, Indonesia, Marketing Metrics and Digital Marketing at Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK and Project Management at IATA Training & Development Institute, among others
