In light of the celebration of its 12th anniversary scheduled for 2020, EiC Corporation, an international platform for economic cooperation and development bringing together investors, economic operators, academics and civil society actors, is strengthening its strategic orientation council by integrating 100 new personalities in its Board. Created in 2008, EiC Corporation is actively engaged in the promotion of FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), popular shareholding, the democratization of finance and financial inclusion with public authorities.
Its members, made up of 70% of actors from the private sector (entrepreneurs, lawyers, financiers, journalists, academics, etc.) and 30% of public decision-makers
(rulers, deputies, mayors, ambassadors, magistrates, etc.) reflect on and analyze the underlying economic issues (taxation & legal, finance, real estate, etc.), with the aim of bringing out proposals concrete actions aimed at accelerating investment and encouraging growth in Africa.
Led by Dr. Manon AMINATOU, vice-president "Diaspora" and Mr Franck BERTHOD, vice-president of the Board of Directors, the Strategic Orientation Council (COS) deploys support actions for the development of the African continent, ensures the promotion of the resolutions taken during conferences aimed at institutional decision-makers, private sector players (employers' organisations, etc.) and civil society. The COs has a non-restrictive and extensive competence in the economic, financial, legal, energy & industrial fields and has notably supported several public institutions within the framework of various projects. In France, EiC Corporation participated in the Consultations of the Presidential Council for Africa, delivered its work and conclusions to the Quai d'Orsay on the issues and challenges raised by the financial contribution of the African Diaspora. In China, EiC accompanied several economic missions of senior Chinese government officials and economic operators. In Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire and several other African states, EiC Corporation has participated in several government consultations on various topics (digitization & digitization of law, implementation of public policies to promote financial inclusion, structuring of tools and alternative financing techniques, etc.).
